Interesting comment re the one dog who presented symptoms at night. While Remy does have bouts of coughing during the day, it is at night where we really struggle. He sleeps only about 3-4 hours and then wakes up coughing, seemingly out of nowhere.
I am doing a coughing diary at the suggestion of our holistic vet here.
The input is very much appreciated.
Noted on the Lomotil.

Will bring up both when on next round of conversations with the vets.
