I wouldn't go with the single girl--sounds as though she would work too long hours.As you know, our babies love company! The puppy may be more of a thing to show off--they are still dogs who love to be trained and learn tricks etc.as well as be pampered. My pup love her yard-I'd be wary of anyone without one. Not sure about the 'breeder'.Go with your gut instinct.
