I take comments like that as a badge of honor, an inside joke that people like that don't get. If they can write off Yorkies and owners as sissies, they will never in their lives know the pure joy and satisfaction that comes from owning one. The laugh's on them. But don't rub it in. It's not polite to make fun of the ignorant.
