My 1 1/2 year old Bentley had LP surgery nearly 3 weeks ago. We were given some exercises to help him strengthen his legs by the surgery center. As of yet, he is not able to do much more than walk for a couple of minutes and then he collapses. Since he had both legs done, I was told it may take longer for him to recover. I would love to hear from others who have had experience rehabilitating their babies. Did you use a professional to help with the process? What did you do at home and how quickly did your dog return to a more normal state? Thanks in advance.
