Hello,

Our two 8-month old puppies often show no interest in their food until they feel they discovered it. I’ve started to cover their bowls with a cloth and then they will nose around it and make a show of sniffing it out and searching for it. Then, when I or they remove the cloth they’ll eat it readily. If I try to give it to them directly they will usually refuse.

Have any of you experienced this behavior? I’ve never seen it in any of the dogs I’ve had previously.
