I don't have any info with heart murmurs but what I did to get a urine sample was get a little plastic tray like pens I think came in and I would have Callie on a leash and slid the tray under her when she was starting to go and that is how I get a sample. My girls seem to give out a sign they are about to squat. My Vet also has a collection kit they can give you with a trey and a collection cup. I got to the point because mine are trained to go potty outside that I try to limit it and take them to the vet for them to get the sample. Callie also had a cyso done a few times too and that is the best way to get an uncontaminated sample.
