Agree with Bluebells. For now just focus on her hind end! It seems more of a priority for the weekend.

If she does not have increased respirations and an increased cough, I would not worry too much.

Many dogs have heart murmurs and live long lives. Did that vet say what degree the murmur is?

Just call your regular vet on Monday and take her in and discuss this all with him/her.

A cardio workup is very expensive and I would not just jump to that without consulting with her general vet.

OH! and don't scoop urine off the floor. Too many ways to get it contaminated. When we have trouble getting a urine sample, my vet does a cysto....it is simply drawing urine from the bladder with a syringe (tiny and the dogs rarely even flinch when it is done). That is actually a great way because if it comes back with indicating infection, they can do a sensitivity to see what antibiotic is best.
