I do have to say her symptoms don't look like that of hepatic encephalitis/liver shunt. But if there is a chance why not.
Liver shunt dogs are often put through a lot of neuro tests before finding a shunt. They often look like neuro dogs.
Symptoms can vary .

I had one that did not even have symptoms. It often has a lot to do with the size of the shunt.

I am so sorry the news is so bad for her and pray an answer is found.
