Mri was done and found to be normal but the medial retropharyngeal lymph nodes are moderately enlarged. (Nothing more said about those)
Spinal tap was done as well but we have to wait on those results.
The neurologist riggt now is suspecting immune-mediated meningoencephalitis of unknown etiology. The spinal testing will hopefully tell us if not immune related but from an infectious disease.
She came home with prednisone, antibiotic and keppra. |
What were the results of the spinal fluid analysis? Also, I had posted asking if a liver shunt was ruled out if it ends up not being neuro. I cannot seem to find it...will have to look. Perhaps you saw it?
