While both of you may have had good experiences with free feeding, it is not recommended for MANY reasons.
I am happy it worked for you; but, I encourage anyone reading this thread to read the link I posted about free feeding. Each of us does what is best for our pups and I am not saying anyone is wrong to do it. I just comes with the risk of many issues.
