is 1 lb too small for a 6week old? his mother is 5.7lbs and father 4.8lbs.
Sorry, I really cannot give an answer to that question. I have only had bigger yorkies. We had many members that as adults their dogs weighed a bit over 3 pounds. See what he weighs at 10 weeks old.
Even with gentle, sweet dogs they can lose their patience with a nipping lil baby. These yorkie babies are wild and full of energy, hang off fur of older dogs. Puppies should never be unsupervised, the mischief they can get into can be fatal. Puppies should not have free roam of home, must be watched as if you had a 2 year old toddler in your house.
