When there is an opportunity to fly, I will fly. My experiences were fine , airports now have dog relieve areas if need be, with TSA Pre/Clear the process for the dog was easy peezy too. There's an additional cost to fly so that's always a consideration. Dog personality also makes a difference on the ease of travel. My boy Troy( now at the rainbow bridge) traveled without any anxiety meds, was quiet and never knew he was about but that was his personality. Emma on the other hand needs a little more care as she's a nervous Nelly.

Driving has its pros as well for both owner and dog , which Ive done as well. All just a matter of preference.
