I agree. Definitely don't go with a breeder who messages you quietly on this forum. There is a reason some of them lurk and it is NOT because they are reputable.
IF I were looking for a yorkie puppy, I would start by looking at the breeder list on
The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America Just a good place to start, but you still must do your homework on the breeder. My one important piece of advice is to go to
https://www.ofa.org/browse-by-breed and take a look at what genetic conditions are known and/or tested for in yorkies. I personally would never purchase a puppy from a breeder who does not do OFA testing on her breeding pairs.
