I prefer driving and hate flying because it’s such a pain. I have never flown with a dog but I flew a lot from an infant on up. I have driven many times with dogs and a dog some just a day to travel and other several days. Driving just worked better because you could take what you wanted and need and was more comfortable. Some airports have certain doggy potty places and others you have to go all the way out of the airport.
