Thank you so much. I’m always amazed at the power of prayers. Always worked for Teddy.
So quick recap of our clinic visit today. When I saw Teddy in his state and condition, I called the clinic and they told me to bring him asap. I called my husband who was at work, but he told me to wait for him to get home because I was in no state to drive. As I was waiting for him to get home, I was googling when you should let go and articles like that. I was ready to discuss it with the vet. And I was devastated.
As soon as my husband got home, we rushed to the clinic. It was not a quick drive and today it seemed even longer. Out vet was not in today, but the nurse said she would put him on IV fluids if he was critical. So we came to the clinic, as we were waiting for the nurse I let Teddy walk around a bit. There was a chiahuahua there and Teddy went and played with her like it was nothing. Not a single cough. Not lethargic at all.
The nurse came down, said this was not critical at all and that they wouldn’t put him on fluids but rather let him play and have fun. So we stayed there for half an hour just to let Teddy play with a chiahuahua. Not a single cough at all. As soon as he got annoyed with her, we took him home. Not a single cough on our drive home. We came home, fed him some food and the coughing was much improved already.
I don’t know whether it was the prayers, the fun times or just pure coincidence. I am grateful just for that.
Please keep Teddy in your prayers!!
