Never regret neutering your pup, you extended his life. Tune out the hubby and stop beating yourself up. You did the best thing for your fur baby. Yes, it is hard trying to keep them calm, they take surgery better than humans, they bounce back so fast. I wouldn't let him jump on and off furniture, but would let him play, but not crazy, zooming and jumping.
