Personally, I let them play! The biggest concern is keeping him from licking it....other than that, he should be fine! I would not let him go crazy, but I never crate extensively after a spay of a female or neuter of a male. They do so well after surgery. If you can, get a baby onesie and put on him making sure the surgery site is covered. Leave the E collar on when you are not with him They can lick them and make a mess of the incision in a very short time!!!

Tune hubby out. LOL Once the little guy is running around normal, your husband will forget all about it!
