Default Dental x-rays

Just a little tidbit/reminder here. X-rays are super important when getting a dental done. While everything may look fine and great with what you can see the x-rays show more of what is going on and there is a lot that can be going on under the gums. Dogs can't tell you when something hurts and they can hide the pain very well. With Joey who got his dental yesterday we would not have known he was getting an abscess if they had not done the x-rays. When Penny got her dental almost a year ago we would not have known about the bone lose under the gum which also can cause pain and issues. please make sure you opt to get those x-rays when your dog is getting a dental, they are super important. Also keep in mind while brushing is great genetics are really the boss and some just have bad teeth in their genetics.
