Good idea, just don't let him out to long otherwise he'll get snowballs stuck to his belly hair lol.
When I had my pack of 3 girls they were all leashed walked every day, snow, hail, rain, they were walked with the proper outdoor gear, raincoats for rain and hail, coats for snow, sweaters for dry weather. When it snowed all returned with snowballs stuck to parts of their belly hair that the outter gear didn't cover.
Male outdoor gear is made shorter on the belly than a females so he'll get more snowballs stuck to his fine puppy hair. But I would but discourage letting him play in snow, he'll burn off some of that puppy energy.
