For the toys, Sammy's favorite game is to throw a ball (or toy) and he fetches and brings it back. It's his favorite past-time. ZuZu sees this and will join in but after maybe 1 time of bringing it back to throw again, he will refuse to release and wants to keep and guard the ball or toy. Offering him another does no good, he wants whatever toy was in play at the moment. So, that's the only time we make him give it up and I've had to now hold him back and not let him chase after the ball since he won't give it up and then Sammy can't play his game. Any other time, I just let ZuZu have whatever toy he wants. I still want to work with him obeying the "drop it" command because I don't want him to actually bite anyone if they mistakenly try to take something from him.
