LOL, he's not use to the feeling of something on him. I would keep it on him for a few hours during the day, remove it at night, this way he'll get use to the feeling of it. Wait until you start leash walking him, now that's a trip lol.
My boy is now 10 years old and still hates the harness lol. Once I take it off, he's on the sofa or bed rubbing himself lol.
