I’m also curious how you figured out the allergy? The biggest issue with food allergies and non prescription food is the regular food is all produced in the same plant so even if it does not contain certain ingredients it is coming in contact with them in the plant which is enough in a dog allergic to things to cause issues. With the prescription food they take precautions for that not to happen. They have some good prescription foods for food allergies. Mine were on the small breed Royal Canin hydrolyzed food due to Callie. After she passed I went to the regular Royal Canin sensitive digestion small breed.
