Default Of all things…

So I started out my babies on Royal Canin and then found out that Toby is allergic to rosemary. So I’ve been on a quest to find a dry dog food that they will eat for the past 5 years. They just refuse to eat anything I buy, and I’ve been to all the health food stores for dogs, paid all kinds of money for every brand with ingredients that were allowed… and I’ve gotten nowhere. And their teeth suffer from not eating hard food. Believe me, if it’s out there, I’ve tried it. All store brands ,all the ones online… they just won’t. I thought I’d lost my mind when I grabbed a small bag of Purina one beef and rice small bites of all things from wal mart one night, wanting to slap myself for going so low… and when I got home and put dinner in the bowl they literally got grumpy with each other for hogging the bowl and I had to put two bowls down because they loved it so much. So I guess they aren’t allowing me to be boujee about their diet on that subject. They have chosen. Both of them. I’m in awe. And it doesn’t have any of the ingredients they are allergic to. Why so many brands use rosemary I don’t know. But this one doesn’t. If you’ve run out of options, try it. It’s better than rotted teeth. I’ve been in this site for years and years, I know all the things y’all are gonna say about this. But after five years of searching this is the only thing they’ve loved besides Royal Canin. And they are allergic to the Royal Canin. I’ll have to wait and see how this affects their coat, but so far at least they are eating it… without me adding all kinds of stuff into it to trick them. So there’s that.
