I have bigger yorkies and I'm not taking them anywhere around unleashed dogs I do not know either. So many people don't train their dogs and you just never know. I used to take Callie to the dog park where there was a fenced in off leash area for small dogs and one for large dogs but people take aggressive dogs and everything thing else and don't watch them properly. Luckily I have 4 now and do lots of different types of training classes so they are all well socialized and have each other to play with whether its chase, wrestle or tug.
