There are many places to walk dogs in the US, but they must be on a leash.
We have state parks where some allow off leash if you have a dog friendly pup. We do have fenced in dog parks were they can be off leash providing all dogs are dog friendly. Some have just for large dogs and a separate fenced in area for smaller dogs.
The US has leash laws, your dog must be on a leash unless you are in an area where off leash is allowed.
I am not a big fan of dog parks, many times friendly dogs do get into fights, I do not take my dog to dog parks, I prefer state parks and use a retractable 25 foot lead.
