A yorkie that we had before the one's that we have now, got his dew claws caught on our cinderblocks leading to the garage. Don't know how he did it but he did. Needless to say I took him and had them removed but this has been 10 - 11 years ago. I would be afraid that they would get caught on something just because I've had one that did.
