Default Yorkie throws up around once a month - 3 weeks

Hi there,

I hope you're all well.

My Yorkie is 8.5 months and since he was about 4.5 months he's thrown up yellow bile around once a month or once in 3 weeks. It's now maybe the 4th or 5th time it has happened.

The first few times I knew what was going on, because he was being picky and not eating food offered first thing in the morning (he's free fed too) and had slept all night. The last two times, it has happened early in the morning (9-11am) after eating at around 10pm (he wanted a long lie). It never happens twice in a row (i.e. it will be one throw up then weeks will go by) and his stools, energy, everything else is normal. He expels bile once and acts like nothing has happened.

I will go to the vet, but in the meantime, does anyone have experience with this type of thing? Thanks!
