That was very sweet of your vet to give that paw print to you,I bought one at the crematorium and they do take a week or so to set firmly.
Keep in mind we’re in Arizona where the humidity is extremely low , if your in a high humidity area it most like will take longer to cure maybe even 2 weeks.
I would worry about baking the clay as it could possibly cause it to crack.
Just let it dry naturally and gently check it ever few days...
