Summer 'complaint' from my girl.
PIPER: I know it's 90 degrees with humidity at 90%, but it is NOT TOO HOT for me to chase after unseen, but heard, chipmunks under the deck!
Piper obsessively chases these ghost chipmunks at a non-stop run/dash/dart until I physically remove and bring her inside; even then Piper paws at patio door wanting to go out immediately...still with her tongue lolling out and her heart racing. Damn the torpedos and the heat, it is literally full speed ahead for Pipe. Of course, at night with AC blowing, she cannot get comfortable sharing a queen-size bed with just moi! Whadda meatball. |
