thanks everyone for your replies, just got off the phone with our VET. She said if we only remove tumor, we will be having the same conversation again soon as they have a tendency to reappear. Will proceed with both procedures as this seem to be the best way to go. Next available appt is about four weeks from now. Hoping insurance will cover at least some $.
