When I didn't know how serious not spaying females were, my girls went into heat every 6 months like clock work, I always wrote it on the calendar.
Its one week coming into heat where the vulva starts to swell
One week is actual bleeding
One week where the bleeding decreases, vulva starts shrinking back and all bleeding ends.
So in total, heat cycle lasts for 3 weeks.
