Animal Smiley 019 Bilious Vomiting Syndrome

Last week my 11yo Biewer female threw up yellow bile and some white foam first thing in the morning when I let her out. I thought nothing of it because she was not acting lethargic, no diarrhea and ate her regular meal a half an hour later. She acted normal all through the day and through the rest of the week. Five days later it happened again. My neighbor, whose daughter-in-law works for a veterinary hospital told me that it could be that her stomach is empty at night and has nothing to digest which causes the build up of acid. They recommend feeding her a small meal or snack before bedtime which will eliminate this from happening.

I will be trying this for the first time tonight and was wondering if anyone here has experienced this? If so, what worked for you? Any/all advice is appreciated.
