Call your vet and discuss the timing of her spay surgery. There is a somewhat higher incidence of surgical complications when dogs are spayed while in heat, due to the swelling in the surgical area. Your vet should be able to discuss the pros and cons with you. |
Thanks for the information. I take my boys in for a dental next week. Maybe I can schedule her spay at the same time. Hoping she isn’t really going in heat. She seems so young.
