Spaying your baby girl is absolutely necessary and extends the lifetime of your
precious baby. 3 1/2 pounds (1.6kg) is not a dangerous weight for spaying.
Make sure your vet does blood work before the spay to ensure her liver can filter the anesthesia.
Blood work is very important, some vets will skip the blood work to keep the cost for the surgery down for their clients.
We all go through this panic mode when our babies need any kind of surgery. She will be fine, just make sure the blood work is done.
Many members use baby Onesie's after the surgery to keep the pup from licking the incision, just a suggestion.
