If he is not able to stand up to her, perhaps you need to. How old is she? Perhaps she has not yet learned how to behave with others...what mom teaches them is very important.
I had a problem with a puppy for a short time....she had been taken to a vet at a very very young age to be euthanized .. long story. Anyway, as she got older and had had her medical issues cared for she was playing rough with my pups AND biting me on occasion. None of my pups wanted to put her in check. I was advised to growl at her LOL I thought it was crazy; but, I only had to do it twice and her biting stopped. I picked her up put her in my face and gave a low growl...crazy it worked.
She still is here and still plays rough with my others but is not hurting any of them.
You need to sort that out....because IF she is an aggressive and dominant alpha type it may not stop and you don't want to be attached and then have to make a difficult decision to rehome her. AND you don't want poor Chase to be hurt. | |
