You see I thought the same thing. Aren't their vitamins and nutrients in dog food? But in the book he goes on to say that they get all the nutrients they need if we fed them a healthy balance diet of "people food" and that we are conditioned in a way to believe that dry dog food is better for them. Why is it that dogs don't like to eat dry food? Do they eat it because they like it? or do they eat it to survive, cuz that's the only food they get? I'm thinking that the book is very controversial, but from what I have seen from my friends dog, he loves his dinner and he has not had a problem. Of course you would have to manage what he eats and measure it.
Let me ask you a question, would be happy eating dry "people food" for the rest of your life? I have started my dogs on this diet starting today. I think it will be better for them.
