Just remembered how terriers, once they have successfully EVER made a hunt, catch, kill are then seemingly FOREVER seeking another prey trophy. Scotty would drive me to distraction sniffing along the den & kitchen baseboards, trying to get under hutches, TV stands, couches and things he couldn't possibly hope to even his ultra tiny body under, ever searching for another mouse. Sets your teeth on edge and raises the hair on the back of your neck to see them continually searching searching searching for what you know for certain they are searching for, so hopeful are they of another successful kill! Sigh, such is the life of a terrier mommy!!!
