I think your pooch will let you know if he's not so into walks anymore. Piper still wants to go, but is sometimes sore after, so I kinda monitor that and factor lengths of walks accordingly...Some days we go 1/2 mile, others we go for 2 and 1/2 miles; it depends on weather and our moods!
