She had an echocardiagram and was prescribed the medication by the doctor who did the echo, not my primary vet. She is on 2.5 twice a day. I gave her her first pill this morning. Had to break it into quarters as even 1/2 is too large for her. Had to give it to her with chicken. She would not take it with a pill pocket or even peanut butter. I was hoping she would like it but no such luck, even though it is chewable. She is a rescued senior but I'm not sure of what her actual age is. |
