Hello all. I’m in need of of some opinions...
My Yorkie will be 10 years old this month and in the past couple months she’s developed a tumour in her mammary gland. She’a not spayed so my vet suggested that I spay her and that she’ll also remove the tumour for me. My dog is 2.5lbs so that on top of her age has me VERY worried. Do you think I should get a second opinion on spaying her? Or just have the vet remove the bump and not spay her? The vet said if I don’t she’ll just keep getting more. So far she hasn’t but the one she does have has gotten bigger.... I’m a little at a loss on what to do.... thanks.
