Ideally I would wait until all shots are finished. With my dogs previously and current. I introduced them to the water gradually. All my dogs are very good swimmers and even dock jump. But you need to guard against hypothermia also heat stroke.
This really at any age, but particularly with puppies and young dogs. Also senior dogs as well
