I agree with both responses. My boys even bark and act out when my husband embraces and/or kisses me, or (pre-covid), a friend would hug and/or kiss me on the cheek. We tell them "stop and sit", and reassure them that it is OK. Luckily, none of my dogs has ever escalated beyond barking!
