Wow its kinda early for lily's.
I had 25 varieties of lily's until last summer. New Jersey and Pennsylvania just got invaded last summer with with a new insect called a spotted lanternfly. As my lilys sprouted these insects ate every leaf, I was left with stems only. I don't know if they will grow back this year. Lily's are my fav. flower. Strange thing is, I Gerber daisy's,new guniea impatiens, caladium 30 feet away from the lily garden in planters these insects never touched those flowers. On my deck I had pots of various flowers, not attacked by this insect. This is a very attractive looking insect, I will see if I can attach some pics.

My early Spring flowers to sprout their lil heads are Crocus.
