I live in North Texas and after last week's weather/power outage debacle and 2 nights in a hotel after 2 days and nights of freezing cold and no power, very long, dark, cold nights, even though our leftover snow melted in a day or so, I'm right there with you. Boo snow in Texas! Texas just can't manage long cold spells anymore. Back when we had fewer cold Northerners moving here to escape the snow, we managed -1 degrees and snow without power outages but now, we've apparently lost our ability to keep our growing population lit(the original meaning of the word) or warm!!!! I may have to install a wood-burning stove if we have many more of lower single digit temps
