I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this. I know how stressful it is.
You’re probably back at the vet today after the bloody poo yesterday, so hopefully you’re getting some good advice and support there.
One thing you might explain, when you’re up to it, is what exactly you mean by your pup’s stool being “solid red blood.” Is it just liquid blood ... or diarrhea mixed with blood ... or solid poo covered in blood? Is it the same as has happened previously or different? Knowing that might help find someone who has had similar issues in the past and can give you some input, since there are so many different kinds of issues that can cause blood in poo.
On the probiotic, I’ve read that probiotics can cause increased thirst during the “adjustment period.” But, then again, some pups (and people) never adjust. The only thing I can suggest is possibly lowering the dosage or maybe trying something less harsh like plain greek yogurt, which has the same kinds of strains of good bacteria but probably smaller numbers of them.
