Merle is not a gene in yorkies. I'm guessing this is a mixed yorkie and not full bred. I would look for a reputable breeder whose pups are AKC registered. If a breeder is saying it is a merle then sadly this breeder is not being honest with you and that means they are not being honest probably with a lot of other things.
