 Weight Gain
Gidget just turned 5 last month. When she saw the Vet in May of last year she weighed 5.6lbs. I weighed her last week and she weighs 6.8lbs. That may not sound like a lot but it's a substantial weight gain for her. I've cut out all tastes of human tidbits from the table (i.e. bites of chicken, etc.) It's so cold now that we aren't getting as much walking during the day. Our usual walk was 40-45 minutes first thing in the morning and then at least 2 30-35 min walks during the rest of the day. Any suggestions for getting her weight down under 6lbs. |
