My Jax only weighed 26 ounces at 12 weeks and, for a long time, I was afraid he wouldn’t even make it to four pounds, he grew so slowly. He didn’t reach four pounds until he was almost nine months old. He’s now about 16 months old and weighs a studier five pounds. I wouldn’t mind him being bigger, because I think he would be a little safer, but at least he no longer feels super fragile.
