Cody is not dog friendly and this can be very dangerous. 8 months after adopting him I enrolled him in obedience classes. 6 sessions once a week. What he learned in 6 weeks was to lunge at the dog we were working with, I signed up for another 6 sessions of advanced training, the trainer told me to use the spray water each time he went to lunge, I thought this would be the perfect solution to stop him since he's scared of the "fly swatter". I figured a couple of squirts would do it, figuring once he sees that bottle he wouldn't lunge.
Forget it, his face would be drenched, he had no fear of the water spray bottle.
Water spray does work on dogs, just not all dogs, I should have worked with the "fly swatter" instead.
