Exactly...! Yorkies were bred to go after vermin in factories and such and in order to do their jobs they needed to develop independent thinking so as to work 'unsupervised' as it were. Their sharp little minds can make training difficult because they have their own ideas, but I think Yorkies are some of thee hardest working dogs. We are all aware of their tenacity and determination and clever (surprising!!??) solutions to problems! Yorkies don't give up!!
